FAQ's....

TRIALS

Q- Is a pre wedding Bridal trial compulsory?

A- No, your bridal trial is not compulsory. However, I highly recommend every bride has one. Your trial is a chance for us to meet and discuss your likes and dislikes, ideas and your whole approach to your wedding. We spend time going through different options for hair and makeup, acessories, special requirements. It also means you get to go away with your final looks and let it sit with you for a few hours. This is a great chance to see how well the hair and makeup lasts. Making decisions on your wedding morning is the last thing you should be doing! We can then communicate between the trial and the day about your thoughts and if you require any tweaks.

Trust me from experience-a friendly face (that's meee!) walking through the door on your wedding morning that knows what you like and want will put you at ease no end.

Q- How long does a trial last?

A- Please allow up to 2 hours for a hair or makeup only trial and 3-4 hours for hair and makeup trials.

Q-Where are trials held?

A- Generally i hold them at my home in Walthamstow, East London. I can travel to you if you are north or east London and can provide parking.

Q-Do you hold trials on weekends?

A- Unfortunately my weekends are booked with weddings so I am unable to accommodate trials at the weekend. I can on occasionally hold trials at weekends during off peak season (Jan/Feb/March), and will do my best to find a time that suits you for the rest of the year.

Q- How far before the wedding should I have my trial?

A- I recommend your trial takes place around 6-8 weeks before your wedding date.

Q-Do i need to do anything to prepare for the trial?

A-At your trial, we will discuss in more details any adjustments you may need to make to your hair and skincare regime. Meanwhile, in the run up to the trial focus on getting into a really good skincare regime. At the most simplest level- always removing makeup in the evenings, wearing spf daily, drinking lots of water. Please, if you have any skin concerns/questions you want to address before the trial, drop me an email and I'd be more than happy to help.

The Wedding Day

Q- I have a large bridal party I'd like to offer hair and makeup to. Can you acommodate this?

A- Yes! I have several other artists that I work with on larger parties.

I can organise this if necessary. In some instances, and extra artist may fee may be applied. This will be discussed with you in mire detail if it is relevant to your booking.

Q- Do you charge travel for the wedding day?

A- Travel charges apply when travelling more than 8 miles from my home. This based on a round trip at 0.65 pence per mile. Other charges such as parkin, congestion charge must also be covered if applicable.

Q- How long will my hair and makeup take on the wedding day?

A- I generally allow 2-2.5 hours for bridal hair and makeup, however this may be tweaked after the trial. I will provide a bespoke schedule for the wedding morning, including any bridal party members, extra artists and time before and after for any extra elements such as photos, setting up, getting into dresses etc. You are the priority, so we make it work around your needs then go from there!

Q-Do you need a deposit to secure my date?

A- I take a £100 deposit deductible from the final total. I cannot hold your wedding date until the deposit has been recieved and it will remain avaiable to be booked by another bride.
